3 km of trail from 15 Wing to Connor Park open!

Three kilometres of trail was built in 2005. The trail runs parallel to 9th Ave. S.W. and runs from Connor Park to the boundary of 15 Wing. This provides a safe alternative for the all the joggers, runners, walkers and cyclists that travel between the city and 15 Wing. There is a gravelled trail that runs inside the old Wild Animal Park fence, then leads south to 15 Wing. There are connecting trails that lead from Connor Park through the old Wild Animal Park to the new trail.

Thank you to Bombardier Aerospace and the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association for funding for the project. Thanks also goes to the City of Moose Jaw and the Saskatchewan Department of Highways for giving access to land for the building of this trail.

Buddy's Gulch is Closed Until Further Notice

Detour Signs have been erected

New Signs

Several new signs have been installed along the trail that show a map and the distance to the trailheads at Coteau St. E & 8th Ave. S.E. and to Connor Park. Thanks to Ed Nelson for designing and building the signs.

Ecological Zone

Wood chips have been laid on the trail in the ecological zone. This is the trail that is parallel to 7th Ave. S.W. that is in the old Kingsway Park area, just north of Valley View Centre. Thank you to the Wakamow Rotary Club for funding and for spreading the wood chips.

Please watch for trail updates and give us a hand if you can.
